Nanga Def, I’m Malik.

I’m a non-traditional creative / art director based in redacted, born in small town western Massachusetts to Senegalese parents. I’ve spent time with independent creative shops like KAMP Grizzly, SPCSHP, Grow and Palette Group, to big agencies like TBWA/Chiat/Day LA, to in-house at PUMA working on the Hoops team.

I’ve worked with clients including Gatorade, the NFL, Uber Eats, Netflix, PUMA, adidas, BMG Records, and more. I’m always down to work with folks who don’t talk over others, who value divergent thinkers, and who want to make work that resonates with culture, not LinkedIn feeds.

When I’m not working in the wild world of advertising, I’m making music videos, designing clothes, styling, and creating content with the creative collective I co-founded, Bridging The Gap.
